“Local newspapers play a vital role in connecting communities, providing essential information, and reporting the stories that matter most to the people they serve.
“Broken Hill has a rich history, and we believe it deserves a strong, independent newspaper to reflect the vibrancy and resilience of its community.”
Mr Lanyon also emphasised, “local newspapers are a cost-effective way for local businesses, government services, and community organisations for product advertising, branding and other important messaging.
“The support of these sectors will be vital to the overall sustainability of publishing Broken Hill Times and help allow us to tell the stories that matter to the community.”
