IT engineer and current Mildura councillor Troy Bailey has nominated for the October election, contesting the Lake Ranfurly ward.

He became a councillor in 2022 on a countback to fill a vacancy, and has lived in the ward for the past 35 years.

His platform for re-election is a focus on the cost of living, with an aim to reduce rates, consolidate council assets and lower waste management fees.
