THE Federal Government has backed its decision to cease Harvest Trail Services from July 1, and reallocate $47.3 million.

Initiated by the Coalition Government in 1998, Harvest Trail Services and the Harvest Trail Information Service were free programs used to connect farmers with backpackers and jobseekers during the harvest period.
