BOTH fire and floods cut access off to Wentworth's Junction Island in the last few years, but now the unique natural landscape is open to the public once again.

The Junction Island bridge and footpath have been repaired for today's reopening, after flooding in late 2022 damaged the assets.

Meanwhile, the nature reserve was off-limits for 11 months after a fire on the island in April 2021.
