GET ready to pull on your sneakers as the inaugural Mildura Marathon Festival takes place this weekend.

Runners are set to be lined up at the Powerhouse Precinct starting line from 9am Sunday morning.

As well as the full and half marathon races, there will also be a 10km, 5km and 2km kids event, making the festival accessible for anyone.
