MEMBERS of the Embroiderers Guild Victoria – Mildura Branch will be showcasing their contemporary and traditional embroideries and textile creations in both 2D and 3D. There will be a range of diverse designs to see, with attendees able to vote for their favourites.

Mildura Motorcycle Club Classic Speedway Championships
36 Winton Drive – 9am-5pm
(Saturday and Sunday)
THE Classic Speedway Championships will see pre-1985 solos and sidecars gather at the speedway, with local and interstate riders racing classic bikes for a fun day of competition and entertainment. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
 

Novice Powerlifting Competition
Mildura Strength and Performance – 1pm-5pm
THIS is a three-lift novice competition for those who lift and want to challenge themselves in a fun, friendly and non-competitive way while also experiencing the competition requirements of powerlifting in a safe environment. Castrol 51st North West Title
Mildura Kart Club – 9.30am-9.30pm (Saturday and Sunday)
MORE than 120 entrants from across Australia are set to race in the Castrol 51st North West Title, hosted by the Mildura Kart Club. Practice begins at 9.30am on Saturday, with qualifying and racing to commence from 2pm. The action continues on Sunday from 8am. Entry is free for spectators.

Mildura Riverfront Marathon
Powerhouse Precinct – 8am
THE inaugural Mildura Riverfront Festival takes place this long weekend. The course runs along the banks of the Murray River and incorporates the Mildura Weir parkrun course. Wentworth-Mildura Cruise
Mildura Paddle Steamers – 8.30am-5pm
CRUISE 56km upstream from the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers at Wentworth, through Lock 11 and back to the Mildura Wharf. Bookings are essential and can be made at the Mildura Visitor Centre or online at book.visitmildura.com.au/mildura-paddle-steamers#/tours/31099.
 

Historic Railway Rides
