PURCHASE of a historically significant building has been put on the agenda by municipal officers ahead of Mildura Rural City Council's regular meeting Thursday evening.

The old Mildura Shire offices building, located at 70 Deakin Avenue, has been mooted for purchase by council, and to do so the municipally will need to borrow money and factor the purchase into the 2024/25 budget.
