MORE than $2.5 million has been committed by Mildura Rural City Council to make its buildings and facilities more energy efficient over the next two years.

The council has a target for all council building and facilities to be fully powered by 100 per cent renewable energy by 2030 as well as a zero net emissions by 2040, excluding landfill.
