A FRIGHTENING incident in which two children had to be freed from a hot car in a Mildura carpark has prompted paramedics to issue a warning to never leave unaccompanied children in vehicles.

Police were called to the Mildura Central carpark about 3pm on Friday after members of the public found the trapped children.
