AN Irymple family who lost their pet dog Reba to poisoning on Monday is warning other Sandilong Avenue residents to be wary.

The Sylvia family's beloved seven-year-old kelpie went roaming after a usually locked gate on their property, between Sixteenth and Seventeenth Street, was left open.

Reba later returned home before her legs suddenly collapsed, and she started foaming at the mouth.
