AN art piece honouring local service men and women has been nominated as a finalist in the 2023 Australian Street Art Awards.

The Walpeup silo art was shortlisted in the Best Monument or Memorial category for a piece which "honours a person, historic event, conflict, animal or a location, and promotes and benefits the town or region".
