MORE than $17,000 has been raised for the MS Foundation, as 67 entrants took part in this year's 24-hour MS Mega Swim challenge at Mildura Waves.

Five teams participated in the team relay event, raising funds from their friends, family members and colleagues.

Organiser Mark Slade, who was diagnosed with MS in 1983, was pleased that the event had returned after a five-year hiatus.
