WENTWORTH Shire Council has introduced a new hard-waste collection giving residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted items free of charge until December.

Berfore the initiative homeowners would have to take items to nearby waste and recycling depots at a cost but will now be able to dispose of goods kerbside.
