MILDURA Weir, Australia's only remaining trestle weir, has been named “the most effectively maintained” asset in the Murray River system.

The Mildura Weir team beat teams from other major locks, weirs and dams to receive the 2023 J.S. Collings Trophy for excellence in maintaining major water management infrastructure on the Murray River.
