A MAN accused of breaking into a Mildura home and assaulting a 50-year-old woman in the early hours of Wednesday denies he is "some kind of sex pest", a court has been told.

Twenty-five-year-old Mildura man Alex Vale, who is facing a raft of charges including assault with intent to commit sexual assault, was yesterday denied bail when he appeared at Mildura Magistrates' Court.
