ROMAN Catholic priest Antonio Spianato studies early Christian Literature and has worked closely with Pope Francis, serving as a deacon and singing the gospel during the funeral of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

Fr Spianato is in Mildura to visit his family and cousin, local entrepreneur Don Carrazza.
