EVENT organisers are putting the final touches on what are expected to be Mildura's biggest-ever New Year's Eve fireworks displays.

Southern Cross Fireworks' Tony Finlay, who also sets up the Mildura Show display, said he expected crowds to be awed by this year's riverside pyrotechnics.
