MORE drink containers have been exchanged for 10 cents in Mildura than anywhere else in Victoria.

The exchange depot at Byrne Court has collected more than 3.2 million containers in the 44 days it was open since November 1, putting more than $320,000 back into the community.

The facility collected an average of almost 73,000 containers a day, or about 9000 containers every hour it had been open.
