MILDURA fishing enthusiasts are being asked to properly dispose of the carp they catch, after large quantities of dead fish were left to rot around a popular Mildura walking track.

Over the past week, large numbers of dead carp have been dumped on the bank, walking track and bushland of Lock 11 Island.
