ONE person was taken to hospital after a high-impact highway crash on Seventeenth Street on Monday.

Two vehicles, a utility and a Toyota sedan, collided at the intersection with Ontario Avenue about 1.15pm.

Seventeenth Street is part of the Calder Highway and traffic on both this road and Ontario Avenue was blocked for some time as wreckage was cleared.
