A BLOCK house in Irymple has been gutted by fire following a suspected electrical fault.

Five trucks from Mildura, Irymple and Red Cliffs CFA responded to the blaze on the corner of Fourteenth Street and Belar Avenue about 4.50am on Thursday.

The occupants were not home at the time of the blaze and were reportedly out of town.
