THE cancellation of Bonza's Mildura flights on Tuesday was caused by an in-flight incident that grounded one of its aircraft.

Some crew members on board the plane were taken to hospital after it hit "severe turbulence" between Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast

The aircraft had been due to fly on to Mildura, but it was kept on the ground while it was assessed for damage.
