Wood's drive to improve city remains strong

RE-ELECTED Mildura Mayor Liam Wood was in the depths of despair after COVID hit and forced the closure of his Mildura nightclub businesses leaving a vast void in his life. But rather than laze about in self-pity, he chose to take on one of the biggest challenges of his life as our civic leader, and that passion will carry him into his third term, as he explains to ALLAN MURPHY.

AM: You become only the fourth councillor to serve at least three consecutive terms as mayor since amalgamations in 1995, what gives you the drive and motivation to go again?
