THE history of Cardross was on full display at the Spring Show on Saturday, when guests celebrated 100 years since soldiers were allocated fruit blocks in the area.

The original Show event ceased in 1963, but was reborn in 2001 after the Cardross Progress Association reformed and redeveloped the town hall.
