A GRANDSON of one of Cardross' first settlers says they would have loved to see what has become of the small community.

The Cardross Spring Show, to be held next Saturday at the town hall, is celebrating 100 years since soldiers were allocated fruit blocks in the area, which, at the time, was called North West Red Cliffs or Little England.
