Fireworks in city on Sunday

PEOPLE who live near Mildura Arts Centre are being notified of fireworks planned for this Sunday.

Fireworks will be going off from 9pm at the Sunraysia Indian Association's Festival of Lights.

The event is at Rio Vista park and parts of Hugh King Drive will be closed.

Local residents are being asked to secure their pets or keep them inside.
