MILDURA'S state MP, the Nationals' Jade Benham, says she is "unsurprised" by Premier Dan Andrews' resignation announcement, except for the timing.

“It's a weird day. I actually thought he would have seen the year out, but it's come very, very quickly," she told Sunraysia Daily when asked for her reaction to the move.
