THE second Mildura house fire within a week destroyed a home next to an aged care facility on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the property in Endeavour Court about 1pm and found it well alight.

Six fire trucks from Fire Rescue Victoria and the Country Fire Authority attended the blaze and it was controlled fairly quickly.
