A MILDURA woman has taken a "creative, fun and entertaining" approach to raising awareness of Australia's biggest killer, heart disease.

Local Heart Foundation ambassador Katrina Umback, whose husband Scott died from a heart attack at the age of 42, has organised celebrity comedian and heart attack survivor Dilruk Jayasinha to perform at a fundraising event in Mildura later this year.
