VIC Emergency has issued a flood warning for the Murray River downstream of Barham to Wentworth.

Authorities have said minor flooding is likely over the weekend or early next week along the stretch of river with The Murray at Wakool Junction’s currently at 8.39 meters and is rising.

The water level at the Wakool Junction is likely to exceed the minor flood level of 8.80 metres.
