HOT-AIR balloons will take to the Sunraysia skies to mark 20 years since the World Balloon Competition was staged in Mildura.

The Mildura Big Balloon Bash will run from June 29 to July 7 next year.

It's the first hot-air balloon event in the region in a decade, and comes twenty years after the gathering of about 1000 competitors for the world competiton.
