ST Joseph's College students have rolled up their sleeves to revamp Meadow Grove Park as part of their Community Volunteer Program.

The year 11 and 12 students cleaned up, removed weeds and spread fresh bark-chip mulch in preparation for new plantings in spring.

Teacher Vicky Ellis said the volunteering was part of the school's VCE Vocational Major curriculum.
