PEOPLE were gathered on the banks of the Mildura riverfront on Thursday to view an on-water trial between a car and a paddleboat.

The Amphicar, which can travel on water and land, entered the water at the Mildura Riverfront on Thursday afternoon.

The 1964 vehicle, which is one of a few registered Amphicars in Australia, is owned by Cooma Car Club president Tony Nassar.
