THE boffins behind the bar at Fossey's Distillery have spent the past few weeks experimenting with hemp.

More precisely, they have created a hemp vodka.

Described as herbaceous and earthy with "grassy notes", the liquor will be available to sample from Friday, with the business intending to commercialise it in the coming weeks.
