AN apprentice Mildura baker has tasted success at Australia's Best Pie & Pastie competition.

But Sunraysia Bread and Butter Bakery's Angus Hopfner was quick to share the credit with his co-workers after taking out two silver medals in the Apprentice Pie and Apprentice Pastie categories.
