ORGANISERS of the Mildura Field Days have hailed the event an overwhelming success, as gate numbers were well up on last year.

Thousands of people from the district and beyond descended on the Mildura racecourse on Friday and Saturday to see what was on offer from more than 120 businesses exhibiting over the two days.
