MILDURA Mayor Liam Wood has vowed to "create a bit of noise" after a parliamentary committee decided to not host a public hearing in Mildura into Victoria's 2022 flood event.

The Victorian Parliament's Environment and Planning Committee announced that hearings for its inquiry would be held in five locations: Rochester, Echuca, Shepparton, Seymour and Melbourne.<
