AN accident at Heathcote Park, near Bendigo, has claimed the life of Mildura Speedway Sidecar driver Warren Monson.

During a Test N Tune Day on Sunday, Monson lost control of his bike and crashed.

Organisers immediately called off the event and shut down the track.
