A PARLIAMENTARY committee has announced it will visit four regional towns ravaged by last year's floods as it probes the natural disaster, but Mildura isn't among them.

The Flood Inquiry Committee will hold public meetings in Rochester, Echuca, Shepparton and Seymour in August and September.

Mildura won't be visited despite being affected by the Murray River flood between November and January.
