THE Mallee Root Festival is among 176 community projects to receive funding from the Strengthening Rural Communities program.

Funding of $10,000 was this week provided to the Ouyen Festivals Committee Inc from the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal as a part of the Rebuilding Regional Communities category.
