WENTWORTH Shire Council has voted to re-establish alcohol-free zones in Wentworth, Buronga and Dareton.

At Wednesday's council meeting, Director of Health and Planning Matthew Carlin said the zones have been in place for a number of years and served to curtail irresponsible behaviour by community members.
