UP to 70 bowlers from across the region will gather next week to celebrate the Workers Ladies Indoor Bias Bowls Club's 60th anniversary, including foundation member, 93-year-old Pat Deering.

Guests will enjoy bowls, a live band and a birthday cake as part of the celebrations next Tuesday from 1pm.

Mrs Deering, who is the club's oldest member, said she had been involved since the club started.
