LIONS Clubs across Sunraysia will be celebrating this weekend's Lions Awareness Day which highlights the work the organisation does in the community.

The first Lions club was formed in Lismore on September 29, 1947,and has grown to be the largest service club organisation in Australia, with more than 25,000 volunteers.
