APPRENTICES that worked at local family building company W.J Shurey and Sons reconnected this month for a special reunion.

W.J Shurey and Sons, which was started by Bill Shurey in 1934, operated in the Mildura for 74 years, erecting well-known buildings all around the region.

After Bill Shurey died in 1980, the business was continued by his two sons, Bob and John.
