A SIMPLE decision to give Red Cliffs kids free access to their local pool while the flooded Murray River is off limits has proved an enormous success.

Local youth and their families have been meeting at the pool over the school holiday period, with Summer Sounds on Friday evenings attracting hundreds to the venue.
