A NEW Saturday bus route is being trialled between Wentworth and Mildura.

The primary aim of the bus is to help Wentworth residents attend medical or health appointments or sports and recreational activities, visit friends and family, or go shopping.

Customers will have easier access to Mildura Base Public Hospital, Bunnings, the Mildura Sporting Precinct and shopping precincts, via a more direct route.

The route is from Wentworth, through Dareton, Buronga and Gol Gol through to Mildura.

A review will assess the success of the route to determine the future of the services.
