ALMOST 30 homes in the Mildura area have been inundated by the Murray flood, emergency services say.

Victorian Emergency Services Minister Jaclyn Symes told Sunraysia Daily on Wednesday that so far 28 homes, mainly in the Nichols Point area, had been hit by the flood, which is nearing its peak at Mildura.
