FOR six decades, the Ouyen Farmers’ Festival has been drawing crowds from near and far.

The event, steeped in history, has played an integral role in the community, providing a social outlet for the farming community in the lead-up to harvest, while raising much-needed funds for the town’s hospital.

But Ouyen, with regret, bid farewell to the festival this week.
