SACRED Heart Primary School teachers were showered with icy water on Friday to raise funds for those in need.

The event, which run as a part of the school's fundraising month, raised $1044 to support overseas missions.

Teacher Marion Guthrie said the money raised went towards the Shared Table projects and other projects set up by Father Michael in South America.
