LARGE hailstones were reported all over Sunraysia on Monday afternoon as a storm made its way across the region.

Mildura experienced thunder, lightning and heavy rainfall when the storm hit at around 3.30pm, recording 20mm by 4.30pm.

Despite the storm dropping the temperature, Mildura recorded its hottest day of winter, with the temperature peaking at 24.2 degrees at 12.30pm.
